Our chapter is named in honor of the veterans who lived at the Confederate Soldiers Home of Missouri, which housed 1,600 Confederate veterans and their families for nearly 60 years. Our website features photos of the Confederate Memorial State Historic Site and the cemetery, which is is the final resting place for 693 Confederate veterans.
