Hi!
My gg grandmother Evaline WHITE married G. W. M. DUCK in Wayne county
on 4 Feb 1849. The DUCKs were from Pulaski. My problem is that I don't
know Evaline's parents. The most likely family seems to be that of James
WHITE of Wayne county, but I have no proof. G. W. M. and Evaline moved
to Texas in the early 1850s (after a few years in Pulaski). For a time
in Texas, a Sidney WHITE lived with them. He was of an age to be her brother.
I would appreciate anything you can tell me about the Wayne county
WHITEs.
Thanks!
Peter Morris

According to their son John's death certificate, John was born in Wayne
