Dr. Percival L Bacchus was born in 1902 and graduated from Meharry Medical College in 1922 in Nashville Tennessee and practiced in Newport at 341 Central Avenue.
Dr. W H Guinn practiced in Newport at Columbia Street between Fourth and Southgate.
Dr. Charles Edward Horner was born 1 Aug 1882 in Cincinnati, the son of Charles D Horner and Rebecca Minnes. He graduated from the Eclectic Medical College in Cincinnati in 1924 and practiced in Newport, treating patients of both races. His father was a teacher at the Southgate School in Newport, the only African American school in Campbell County.
