GOTTLOB ADAM KIENZLE was born in Allermsbach, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany on December 7, 1840. It appears he immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania about 1860. There he met and married CAROLINE ROSINA GOSMAN around 1865. Their first child, CHARLES HENRY, was born Philadelphia. By 1870, the family was living in Bridgeton, New Jersey, where Gottlob operated a bakery on Broad Street. Two more children were added to the family in New Jersey, ANNA CAROLINE and EDWARD FREDERICK. Gottlob died of tuberculosis on April 21, 1881.
