Rockbridge County VAGenWeb Archives houses transcribed documents which are put up by genealogists. If you have such documents in your files you are urged to transcribe them and put them up here. Please fully transcribe wills, deeds, cemeteries, marriages, etc. and send them to the Site administrator for inclusion.

genealogists, we urge you to become involved in making this project more complete.

Library of Virginia As the commonwealth's library at the seat of government and the
state archives, the Library of Virginia's collections of books, periodicals,
government publications, newspapers, architectural drawings and plans,
manuscripts, archival records, maps, rare books, prints and photographs, and
fine art are unsurpassed in depth and scope. These collections document the
history, culture, and people of the commonwealth and are available on paper
and microfilm, as well as digitally.

Chancery Records Each of Virginia's circuit courts created chancery records that
contain considerable historical and genealogical information.
