killed in Cloud's Creek Massacre. Jacob Smith first settled at Mount
Willing
but later moved to his plantation Winehall which was inherited by his
daughter,
Sophia Bonham. Jacob Smith d. 1805, age 65-70. Mrs. Sarah Smith, relict
of
Jacob Smith d. 1817 in the 76th year of her age. Child:
Luke Smith md. Elizabeth Lamar. [Luke Smith refused on 10 Dec. 1807 to
serve as
executor of Jacob Smith which "entitles me to act as executor of Andrew
Lee." He relinquished to Andrew Lee. Wit: Henry Etheredge, Susannah
