Our meetings are held at the new LDS Church building located at 15700 N. Pennsylvania, Edmond OK 73013. Please refer to the new EGS website at www.edmondgensoc.org for more information.

The EGS meetings are held the third Monday of the month, unless otherwise notified, with a social time beginning at 6:00 PM, and the main program at 6:30 PM.  EGS members (look for the EGS badge) will answer your genealogical questions at the meeting. Membership is open to anyone interested in historical or genealogical research.

The EGS Board of Directors meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, at the Edmond Historical Society and Museum.

EGS has many publications at the Research Library and Genealogical Center at the Edmond Historical Society and Museum library (431 South Boulevard, Edmond), including over 5,000 books and periodicals, and microfilm of the "Edmond Sun" newspaper. Popular areas of local history in the library include Edmond High School and University of Central Oklahoma yearbooks, Edmond city directories, and an Edmond authors section.

Among other research materials, the Center also offers Edmond Grace Lawn Cemetery Records, local family histories, and vertical files of noteworthy local citizens and events. Genealogical volunteers from the Edmond Genealogical Society are available to assist with family research, by appointment, by calling the museum at: (405) 340-0078.
