Maylou Denyer writes, "Hiram Scovil was born about 1822, died 15 Apr. 1858. Married Jane Hall 11 Jan 1852. A probate record for Hiram mentions 2 children under the age of 15, no names given. One other child, Mary Isabella, is buried next to Hiram. She died at the age of 1 yr, 2 m, 8 d. (The listing in the Warren County Cemetery Records Volume 5 indicates that she was the daughter of HN & Jane Scovil and died Aug 10, 1872 which cannot be correct."
