appeared on 30 Apr 1936 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson,
NY, as follows: "Mrs. Martha K. Allen, 80, Dies. Canton, April
30.--Mrs. Martha Klock Allen, widow of Henry Allen, died at the home of a brother
on the Canton-Ogdensburg road in the town of Lisbon at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Death
was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mary J. Neil, Mother-in-Law, 55, b. NY, par. b. NY. [LDS transcription] They
were married about 1876. Martha's married name also seen as Block.
Bates Aaron Klock (son of Luther Klock and Zylphia
Ann Tupper) was born on 24 Jun 1847 in Montgomery county, NY. He
died on 7 Jul 1894 in Emeryville, St. Lawrence, NY. "Bates Klock,
after a lingering illness, died Sunday morning and was buried in Gouverneur cemetery
Monday, Rev. Kernahan, of Fowler, officiating." [SLCHA Scrapbook #4, page
124, "Emeryville, July 10, 1894"] He was buried in Riverside cemetery,
Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, NY. Martha B. Neil and Bates Aaron Klock
had the following children:

St. Lawrence, NY. "ALLEN--KLOCK.--In Gouverneur, July 29, by
Rev. S. J. Greenfield, Wm. Henry Allen, of Russell, and Mrs. Martha B. Klock,
