Klock, 83, Gouverneur, retired farmer who died Monday at Potsdam hospital, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Sprague funeral home. Rev. Stanley E. Brown, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate an burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
"Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie P. Klock; four sons, Kenneth and Earl F., both of Gouverneur; Milton, Portland, Ore., and Lloyd, in the army at Ft. Gordon, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Eva) LaRock, Gouverneur; Mrs. Bernard (Gladys) O'Leary, Norfolk, and Mrs. John (Betty) Narrow, Hudson; a sister, Mrs. Anna Bressett, Ogdensburg, and 25 grandchildren.
"He was born June 29, 1880, in the town of Fowler, son of Bates O. and Martha Neil Klock and attended school at Fowler. He and his late brother, George, worked in lumber woods in the Potsdam area and on farms in the Gouverneur area. He married the former Minnie Peck Nov. 4, 1916, at Gouverneur by Rev. William H. Hyden, Methodist pastor.

"Surviving are three sons, Milton, Gaston, Ore., Earl, Gouverneur, and Floyd, Watertown; three daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Eva) LaRock, Gouverneur, Mrs. Bernard (Gladys) O'Leary, Nofolk, and Mrs. John (Betty) Nero, Hudson; 27 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
"Born Nov. 4, 1897, in the town of Gouverneur, she was the daughter of Hiram and Emma Peck.
"She was married to William J. Klock on Nov. 4, 1916, in Gouverneur, with Rev. William Hydon officiating. Mr. Klock died Oct. 7, 1963.

Charles Arthur Klock was born in 1924 in Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, NY. He died on 22 Mar 1941 in Hermon, St. Lawrence, NY. Neck Lacerations and a Fractured Skull Cause of Victim's Death. Charles Arthur Klock Is Fatally Injured At Farm. He Was Sawing Wood Alone On Father's Farm. Died On Way To Assistance. Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Klock of Hermon Believed to Have Fallen Against Saw Blade After Belt Became Disengaged. Hermon, March 24.--Charles Arthur Klock, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Klock of Hermon, R.D., died Saturday afternoon of a fractured skull and neck lacerations suffered when he was caught in a buzz saw on the Klock farm, six miles from Hermon on the Edwards highway.
"With his father and brothers, young Klock was sawing wood, and although there was no eyewitness to the accident, it is believed that the youth was thrown against the blade as he endeavored to stop the saw after the belt had disengaged from the flywheel.
"He suffered a fractured left arm and multiple cuts and bruises. His head was nearly severed. His father and brother rushed him to a physicians office in Hermon but he died en route.
"The body was removed to Green's funeral home, and an inquest was held by Coroner Pope Brown. He gave a verdict of accidental death due to a fractured skull.
"Young Klock was born in Gouverneur, a son of William and Minnie Peck Klock. He had resided with his parents near Gouverneur until last November when the family moved to the present home. He attended district schools and last year attended Hermon High school.
"He is survived by his parents, four brothers and three sisters, Earl, Floyd, Eva, Gladys and Betty, at home, Kenneth and Milton of Gouverneur; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Jane Peck, Gouverneur, and several aunts and uncles.
"Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 from Green's funeral home, Rev. Vernon Nichols, pastor of the Methodist church officiated. The body was placed in the vault at Riverside cemetery in Gouverneur." He was buried in Riverside cemetery, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, NY.
