15 November 2012 Meeting

The November 15th, 2012 LGS meeting was called to order. A moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Brenda Fuselier, President.

Members were reminded that the annual Christmas banquet will be held December 6th, at the Petroleum Club in Lafayette. Guest speaker will be Lynn Guidry who will give a presentation on the growth of Lafayette.

Meeting was adjourned so that members could attend the program in the auditorium given by Jose' Manuel, writer and licensed historian in Spain. His presentation will be on the Malaguenos in Louisiana, Spanish founders of New Iberia, LA.
