Lafayette Genealogical Society

We hold meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, in the South Regional Lafayette Public Library located at 6101 Johnston Street. This is with the exception of the month of December, which is when we have our annual membership banquet. Our meetings are open to the public and generally include a main presentation or a genealogical class in order to help further family history research.

We also hold Genealogy 101 Work Shops on the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 AM in the library described above.  A Genealogy 101 Work Shop can consist of a round table discussion or genealogy presentation.
