Clyde
Wilkerson Salyer. Son of Fielding Newton and Katherine Whitaker Salyer. He
was born in Sun City Kansas on 9/16/1886 and died on December 29, 1941.
The
Whitaker family along with Johnson Marshall and some of his family
followed Johnson Adams (Tom Whitaker's brother in law), to Douglas,
Kentucky in 1870,
by 1875 they lived in Sun City, Kansas. Fielding Salyer and his brother in
law Henry Van Trees were part of the Oklahoma land rush in the 1890's. |
