Orpha Florence Tonn 84 of Belleview, Florida formerly of the Oblong and Hunt City, Illinois areas died Wednesday February 20, 2002 at 10:15 p.m. E.S.T. at Oakhurst Rehab and Nursing Center in Ocala, Florida. Orpha was born February 25, 1917 in Jasper County, Illinois and was the daughter of George Franklin Brough and Clara (Cox) Brough. On November 9, 1937 she married Vern Robinson who died in December 1975. She was later married to Guston Tonn.

Orpha worked at the Ettlebrick Shoe Factory in Robinson, owned and operated the Hunt City Grocery in Hunt City and was a clerk at Cunningham's I.G.A. in Oblong. Her faith Congregational Christian Church and she attended White Oak Church in rural Oblong when she lived in the area. She loved to work in her gardens.

Orpha is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Jerry & Roberta Robinson; daughter and son-in-law Sandra J. & Virgil Rhoads; 5 grandchildren Randy & Deanna Robinson, Cheryle & Ray Streight, Kimberly & Jeff Nugent, Glynda & Alan Meyerholtz and Troy Rhoads; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 1 brother Victor Brough; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Orpha in death were her parents, first husband, and 2 sisters Vivian Higgins and Geneva Boyd.

Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
