LaDonna J. Stifle, 52, rural Robinson, Illinois, died Monday March 15, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana following several months of failing health. La Donna was born on March 31, 1951 in Madison, Indiana and was the daughter of Thomas Wolford Stewart and Evelyn Jeneen (Kemp). On October 19, 1996 she married Michael E. "Mike" Stifle who survives. La Donna was a waitress at Three Brothers Restaurant, Robinson, Illinois. She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church, New Washington, Indiana.
La Donna is survived by her husband Mike Stifle; two sons and a daughter-in-law James E. & Melissa Vest and Thomas L. Vest; four daughters and a son-in-law Ruth Hall, Melissa Lewis, Christina D. Earnest and Melinda & David Skinner; 14 grandchildren; brother Charles E. Stewart; two sisters and a brother-in-law Karen & Steve Williams and Tommie J. Milam & companion Mike Myers; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Her parents, sister-in-law Rosemary Stewart; step father Grover Smith; and father-in-law Orville "Bones" Stifle precede her in death.
Burial will be in Grand Prairie (Eaton) Cemetery, rural Robinson.
