Isabelle G. "Issy" Knox 92 Lebanon, Pa. formerly of Robinson, IL. died Friday August 10, 2001 at Manor Care in Lebanon, PA. Issy was born February 10, 1909 in Fort Wayne, IN. the daughter of Charles Arthur Byrt and Jennie A. (Patterson) Byrt.
On October 11, 1931 she married Floris "Colonel" Knox who died June 27, 1992. Issy was a homemaker and member of Hardinville United Church, Hardinville, IL. She was a 1929 graduate of Galveston High School Galveston, IN. Her hobbies included gardening, canning, baking, crocheting, and making afghans for friends and residents in area nursing homes.
Issy is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters (Jeannette Byrt, Nelma Hetzner & Naomi Hoffman); and 1 brother (Arthur Byrt).
Burial was in Lawrenceville City Cemetery, Lawrenceville, IL.
