DeAnn M. Knollenberg, 40, passed away Saturday August 13, 2005 from injuries sustained in an auto accident near New Harmony, Indiana. DeAnn was born January 7, 1965 in Robinson, Illinois and was the daughter of Ray and Thelma (Russell) Baker. On March 31, 1990 DeAnn married James "Jim" Knollenberg and he survives. She was a personal trainer & wellness coordinator for Crawford Memorial Hospital Healthworks Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Robinson, Illinois. DeAnn was a member of the Oblong First Baptist Church, Chapter KS PEO Sisterhood - Oblong, president of the Oblong Music Boosters, Central United Methodist Church Youth Choir Director for several years. She was a personal trainer, CPR instructor and was active in many area health clinics promoting health awareness. DeAnn was an avid boater, she loved to shop, was a good cook and an excellent and loved mother. She graduated from Oblong High School in 1983 and University of Evansville in 1988.

DeAnn is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Knollenberg, parents, Ray & Thelma Baker, two sons, Karch & Kurt Knollenberg, one daugther, Kaitlyn Knollenberg, two brothers and sisters-in-law, DeLane & Karen Baker and Deon & Katie Baker, two sisters and brothers-in-law, DeEtta & Doug Casey and Denise & Chris Kramer, mother-in-law, Joan Knollenberg & Jack Reeder, several nieces and nephews and grandma Evelyn Baker Purcell.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
