Arthur M. Chapman, 89, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Burnside Nursing Home, Marshall, IL. He was born October 10, 1915 in Crawford County, IL, the son of Chester Arthur Chapman and Grace Arvinia Garrard Chapman. He worked in the machine shop at Bradford Supply for 30 years. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII.

He married Eva Marie Rich on March 26,1942 and she survives. He is also survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Lawrence Kennelly, University Park, IL, Judy and Mike Bowlsby, Lacey, WA, Lois and Sebastin Maurice, Valparaiso, FL; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Beverly Chapman, Michigan City, IN; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Reba and P.J. Oschmann, Burbank, IL; 2 sisters-in-law, Ruby Chapman, Casey and Evelyn Gilbert, Martinsville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Raymond Chapman, Howard Chapman, Warren Chapman, Randall Chapman; 2 half brothers, Carrol Chapman and Orville Chapman; and 1 sister, Phyllis Sackrider.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Rev. Leland Culp officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the funeral home.
