Frances M. Catt, 94, Oblong, Illinois died Tuesday February 22, 2005 at Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney, Illinois. Frances was born on August 13, 1910 in Martin Township, Crawford County, Illinois and was the daughter of Charles H. & Mary Catherine (Mikeworth) Rich. On January 28, 1928 Frances married Harlan "Shorty" Catt and he preceded her in death on May 19, 1994. Frances was a homemaker and a member of the Hardinville United Church, Hardinville, Illinois. Frances was a Sunday School teacher and played the piano at the Hardinville United Church for many years. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, crocheting, reading and playing the piano.
Frances is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Leonard & Gloria Catt and Lyman M. Catt; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: Raymond and Walter Rich; three sisters: Orpha Weger, Gertie Shipman and Rosie E. Jones.
Burial will be in the Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
