Barbara Bilyew, 72, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2005 at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, IL. She was born September 27, 1932 in Vermilion County, IN, the daughter of Ira Billings and Faye Elkins Billings. She was a housewife.
She married Leon Bilyew August 22, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Rena and Michael Gower, Robinson, Karen and Dale Kerner, Newton, Rebecca and Jerry Bradbury, Robinson, Sandy Bilyew and friend, Dave Simpson, Robinson, and Dana Rich, Robinson; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Marianne Bilyew, Oblong, Gareld and Myra Bilyew, Oblong; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth Overpeck, Indianapolis, IN, Ann Sieg, Indianapolis, IN, Nan and Lloyd Schafer, Trimble, Freda Harris, Chicago, Ruby and Art Gomez, Anaheim, CA; and 1 brother and sister-in-law, J. R. and Lucille Billings, Mayer, AZ.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2005 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Burial will be in the Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 28th. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital with envelopes available at the funeral home.
