FLETCHER PACK DIES SUDDENLY WHILE WORKING
Funeral services for Fletcher Pack, 62, were conducted
Monday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev.
Grady Frady officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Pack died suddenly of a heart attack early Saturday night
while at work. Born and reared in the Ranger Community, he
attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; six
daughter, Mrs. Carl Yancy and Miss Nancy Pack of
Ranger, Mrs. Harold Frances of Monticello, Mrs.
Weldon Tanner of Atlanta, and Mrs. Arnold Dixon of
Dalton; five sons, Truman of Doraville, Clyde of
Fairmount, Lee of Canton, Frank of Dalton and
James of Chatsworth; two sisters, Mrs. A. H. Owen
and Mrs. Johnny Padgett, both of Oakman; a brother,
Haywood Pack of Oakman; 23 grandchildren and mother,
Mrs. Nora Pack of Oakman. Pallbearers were Paul Bowing,
Dorace Findley, David Sanford, Harry Hobgood, Howard Crider
and Vesta Burton. Interment was in the New Hope
