A wee start for researching |
'Thanks to the efforts of Br. Rory Higgins of the staff at St Bede's College, there is a full list of some 14000 women who have joined religious orders to become sisters (nuns). The list shows those who entered religious orders in Australia before 1920 or who clame from Ireland as nuns. For privacy reasons the data base stops at 1920. You are free to download the full list at: http://www.stbedes.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/br/ It's in compressed format (zipped). |
