Glendale -- Norma L. Hackney, 64, who had been a secretary and bookkeeper 14 years for Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. in Phoenix, died Wednesday, July 17, 1974, in Good Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Hackney of 5607 W. Monterosa, was born in Corning, Ohio, and came here in 1951 from Newark, Ohio. Sun City -- Services for Albert William Hadley, 75, of 10628 Roundelay Circle, were in the United Church of Sun City. Burial was private. Mr. Hadley, who operated a plumbing and heating business in Ottumwa, Iowa, for 50 years, died at his home here Tuesday, June 25, 1974. HAGERMAN, Ann T.

Ann T. Hagerman, 76, died Monday, Oct. 21, 1974, in St. Joseph's Hospital. She had been a scheduler 11 years for North American Rockwell Co. until retiring in 1962. Jay C. Hansen, 80, who came here in 1937 from Los Angeles, died Wednesday, June 12, 1974, in St. Luke�s Hospital. Ellen Maroney Hastings, 89, died Sat., July 6, 1974, in a local hospital. Mrs. Hastings received a 45-year pin for her work in the Primary organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. HASTINGS, James R., Dr.

Tucson -- Services for University of Arizona meteorologist James R. Hastings, 50, who died in his home in Tucson, were held Monday, July 1, 1974. Burial was in East Lawn Memorial Park. Dr. Hastings, who died of complications from recent open heart surgery, was a native Arizonan born in Hayden and was its first mayor when it incorporated in 1956. He had been a permanent UofA faculty member since 1962 but previously taught history and was a graduate assistant in government at the university. He received his bachelor's degree from the UofA in 1951 and his doctorate in 1963, also from the UofA. He was a World War II veteran and served overseas in India from 1942 to 1945. Survivors include his brother, Weldon W. and a sister out of state. Thursday, July 4, 1974.

HATCH, Ezra Ralph

Ezra Ralph Hatch, 78, a native of Taylor, died Thursday, June 27, 1974, in his home in Phoenix. He was a former owner operator of a motel in Holbrook and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission for the church in the Southern States. Wife, Ida; sons, Orlin, Coy, Melvin, and Charles; a daughter, Mrs. Allen Webb; brothers, Vern, Aquilla and James; sisters, Mrs. Ruth Ozment and Mrs. Idell Solomon; 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. HELLMUND, Jacob T.

Jacob T. Hellmund, 89, who had been a contractor many years with Del Webb and Pete Homes, died Tuesday, June 11, 1974, in Upward View Nursing Home. Mr. Hellmund, of 1941 W. Mitchell, was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist and Carpenters Union Local 1089. He had lived in Phoenix since 1926. Services were in A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Private cremation followed. Survivors include his children, Mrs. Marvin Mitchell, Dorothy, Robert L., Russell E. and Ray Hellmund; and nine grandchildren. HELLMUND, Jacob T.

Jacob T. Hellmund, 89, died Tuesday, June 11, 1974, in Upward View Nursing Home. He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist and Carpenters Union Local 1089. He had been a contractor with Del Webb and Pete Homes for many years. He lived in Phoenix since 1926.
