St. Lawrence, King and Little Diomede Islands
May 4, 2005 - Well, to be truthful, everything about the 'Nome Census Area' web site is 'new'. This genealogical and historical site was just posted to the Internet as part of the state of Alaska, for the American Local History Network. The American Local History Network consists of a group of volunteers that give of their time and talent to make information about a particular area available to researers who are seeking historical information or information on their ancestors. Keep checking back as new information and data will be posted on a regular basis.
