Alaska Mail Lists

Mailing lists can be very useful and helpful when searching for information on one's ancestors. All researchers seeking to obtain information on their ancestors should subscribe to a mailing list in hopes of making contact with another researcher that has information on the family you are researching.

Researchers with interests in Alaska may want to consider subscribing to the Alaska genealogy mailing list (AKGEN)as well as a list for the specific region in which you have interest.

The lists below are new and were created specifically for the American Local History Network for researchers of ancestors that resided in Alaska at one time or another.

To subscribe to one of these list, you need only click on the 'subscribe' link. Your E-mail account will respond by displaying an E-mail properly addressed. You need only hit the 'Send' button.
