Kaiser

A railroad line owned by the Omaha Railroad Company and the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis Railroad connecting Park Falls and Spooner was completed in 1914. The line off the main railroad had its junction at Tuscobia and ran east through Brill, Birchwood, Yarnell, Couderay, Radisson, Winter, Loretta, Kennedy, Kaiser and ended in Park Falls.

Arnold E. Kaiser, a native of Canada who immigrated in 1903 owned a lumber mill on the line several miles west of Park Falls. Arnold Kaiser and his wife, Ada had one son, John I. Kaiser around 1919.

Although a ‘ghost town’ now, at one time in the early 1900’s, Kaiser was a bustling little mill town.
