Electric Shop, who died of heart failure at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening
after a day's illness.

era of prosperiety. In his judicial capacity and in private life he
tried to be just and unbiased, his views at all times being tempered by
kindly understanding and tolerance. His quiet, jovial disposition
endeared him to all.
Mr. MULLINS was born in Troy, Alabama, December 9, 1859, and died at
Temple July 11, at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 2 days. He moved
from Alabama to Kaufman County, Texas, when 17 years of age. On.
December 3, 1879, he was married to Miss Anna HARR. With his family he
moved to Oklahoma in the early days and in 1921 entered business in
Temple. He was converted when a young man and joined the M.E. church,
remaining a faithful member.
The deceased is survived by his wife, one son, Claude MULLINS, Fort
Worth, Texas, and four daughters, Mrs. C. E. YOUNG of Walters, Mrs. M W
DANIELS of Hastings, Mrs. Earl D SALE of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Joe
CHITWOOD of Memphis, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren."

born.
Ed and Mary had seven children: Faye and Ann who were born in Texas
before coming to Hastings area, where Elsie (born in 1908), Ruth, Sam,
Eula Lea and Betty were born. The MULLINS farmed south of Hastings.
About 1920 Ed and Mary and their family moved to Temple. Ed and Ed YOUNG
