GAYDA,  ANNIE LEE 

 

Advocate News Service: Annie L. Gayda: Annie Lee Gayda, 65, of Goliad, died Sunday morning in a Goliad hospital following a long illness. She was born May 16, 1920, in Goliad. She was a grocery clerk for Ressmanns Grocery and a member of the Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Colonial Funeral Home chapel in Goliad with the Rev. Earl Bolte officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7;30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Surviving are a daughter, Johnnie Lee Gayda of Goliad; mother, Hattie Friedrichs of Goliad; and a sister, Waldine Onken of Welch, La. Pallbearers will be Ignacio Garcia, Joe Cortines, Robert Ressmann, Danny Betts, O. W. Noland and Leonard Albrecht. The family requests that in lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Goliad Theater Arts Group.

 

GAYDA,  ANNIE LEE 

 

From Goliad newspaper obit: Annie Lee Gayda, 65 of Goliad, died Sunday morning, Sept. 8,1985 in the Goliad Hospital following a year long illness. A Prayer service was conducted Monday, Sept. 9 at 7;30 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept 10 at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Merle Bolte officiating. Burial followed in Glendale Cemetery. Mrs. Gayda was born May 16, 1920 in Goliad County, the daughter of August and Hattie Ludecke Friedrichs. She was employed as a sales clerk at Ressmanns Grocery and a member of the Lutheran Church. Mrs. Gayda is survived by her mother, Hattie Luedecke Friedrichs of Goliad; one daughter, Johnnie Lee Gayda of Goliad; and one sister, Waldine Onken of Louisiana. She was preceeded in death by her husband, John Gayda. Pallbearers were Ignacio Garcia, Robert Ressmann, O. W. Noland, Joe Cortines, Danny Betts, and Leonard Albrecht.
