Gail Highers Holt, is the daughter of Tommy Highers.
Cecil and Tommy were the children of Thomas Jefferson Highers (b. Smith Co., TN
Aug. 1881, d. 1930) and Lister Lynch (born 13 Jan. 1879, died Aug. 22 1934) married 26 Dec. 1901
Thomas and Lister Highers ran the Walton Hotel at one time and then Then Cecil and his wife Hattie

Thomas J. Highers was the son of Josiah T. and Ann Belk Highers and there picture is on this website
Cecil Highers is in the 1924 Carthage High School football team photo in the Smith Co.
