The Beasley Vault
The Beasley Vault Cemetery in Dodd City, Fannin County, Texas.
Isham Dillard Beasley had this vault built and is only one buried
in it, in fact he is the only one buried in the cemetery.

Isham Dillard Beasley Jan. 15, 1822 Smith County, Tn. died Feb. 7,
1903 Lannius, Fannin County, Texas, S/O Henry Beasley and Mary Polly
Johns 1st wife: Sally Stewart Sept. 16, 1829 Smith County, Tn., died
April 11, 1890 Lannius, Fannin County, Texas, burial Smyrna Cemetery,
Fannin County, Texas, D/O Reece C. Stewart and Charlotte Duke.
2nd wife: she was a cousin to his first wife. Charlotta G. Franklin,
June 28, 1847 Smith County, Tn., died Sept. 8, 1919 in Smith County,
Tn. D/O Henry Franklin and Ann Elizabeth Duke, her burial is listed on
her death certificate as Mc Cormick Cemetery, Smith County web site
list it as Young Cemetery on Buffalo Rd. The people who own the farm
where the cemetery is located call it Beasley Cemetery.
