DANIEL Family History
My sincere gratitude goes to James Daniel of Missouri for all his research on this family. His years of research and collection of photographs were graciously shared with my sister and me. My preference would be that he write this history, and I hope someday he will write a book on this family, and share many of the personal stories that he has from family members.
We are privileged to have the Memoirs of Jessie Daniel Caudle (pdf format) written in 1976. Jessie was the half sister of my grandmother Ida Daniel Cline. Thanks to Jessie, we get a glimpse of what life was like for this family, and thanks to her family, James Daniel and William Larry Caudle for sharing this with other Daniel family members. My sister remembers, our grandmother, Ida, talking about some of the stories that are included in these memoirs, so this is very special for our family to have a copy of this. Jessie's family photos
