How to get there
DIRECTIONS: Coming from Downtown Dallas on I-35 South, take the Illinois Exit. The Cemetery is located on a tiny dead-end service road/street called Brook Haven which runs in front of the Jack-in-the-Box on the corner of Illinois & I-35 South. An offshoot street, Ohio, cuts off to the right of Brook Hollow towards Zang Blvd. The cemetery sits at the dead-end of Brook Hollow & can be seen from the I-35 South Freeway on the right as you come to the Hwy 67 to Cedar Hill/I-35 South to Waco split.
No Historical Marker. Nine members of the McAdams/Rogers families lie here in this serene, forgotten place. Four chunks of stone mark other possible gravesites, but no visible marker remain to identify them due to vandals. The unknown infant buried here next to the Stewart marker may belong to the Stewarts as they did have one daughter together who went to live with relatives after her parents' deaths.
Info in parentesis are taken from my own research & do not appear on the stone iteself. An Excel file is also available for download so that you may print the census information out by clicking the link provided.
