Greetings
and welcome to the Waterford Township web site. I
am Herb Kinney, coordinator for this township. I am
currently a resident of Edinboro, Pa. but I grew up
in Waterford. As a teenager I mowed the grass at the
Waterford Cemetery and I'm quite familiar with it.
I have roots in Waterford reaching back to 1816 with my
Woodford ancestors arrival from Connecticut. I have been researching my own family history for over twenty-five years, with several successes and also my fair share of dead ends. My goal is to bring you historical and genealogical information, data, photos, and other matters of interest to help us all paint a better picture of life in Waterford Township. I want this site to be more than a collection of names and dates. I want "our" work to reflect the people we came from and be a lasting resource and tribute to our colorful past.
