1925 WEST SPRINGFIELD COMMENCEMENT

The yearbook was dedicated to Miss LYDIA RISSELL, Faculty Advisor.

A Memoriaum to EUNICE ELIZABETH McCUNE, Freshmen Treasurer and Sophomore President, passed away September 5, 1924 at the age of sixteen. She was in her Senior year, and actively worked to obtain electric lights for the school building. EUNICE was a member of the Baptist Church and The Ford Literary Society.

Senior Class Trip:

On June 3, 1925, the class boarded a special Bessemer train for Washington, D.C. Mr. COMSTOCK, Passenger Agent, collected a reduced rate of $41.37 each for a 6 day tour to Washington. Miss RISSELL attended as class chaperon.

The speakers chosen by scholarship were Ruth Sherman and Genevieve Rumsey; class choice were Robert Holdson and Noel Rossiter; and faculty choice were Marion Wright and Vanatta Vandervort.
