The picture below has been submitted by P. Nolan. The following information was included along with the picture:
"My grandmother was Mabel Margaret Tennant. She was daughter of James Tennant and Lillie Ellison Tennant. She was born in 1887 and raised in Erie and graduated from Erie HS in 1905. Her father died of Tuberculosis in 1899 and circumstances made it necessary for her and her mother to relocate after her graduation. She always considered Erie her "home" and, indeed, her parents and two infant siblings are buried there. This picture is from her high school days. They look like a lively bunch. She is the person 4th from the left in the seated row below the people standing. She has a black band ribbon around her neck and a pin where her collar meets her dress."
