Hannah (?) was born circa 1780.1
Hannah married John BURT, son of Joseph BURT and Elizabeth (?), circa 1814 in Georgia. This is a "best guess" for the marriage date and place. The marriage could have taken place in Tattnall, Hancock or Baldwin counties.
John died in September 1827 in Autauga County, Alabama, leaving Hannah (?) as a widow.2
Hannah (?) was probably the female age 50-59 listed in the household of Stephen M. BURT, in the 1830 Federal Census of Capt Davis' District, Autauga County, Alabama. The household consisted of Stephen and Ann, maybe a brother age 15-19, and probably Hannah.
Hannah (?) died in 1835 in Talladega County, Alabama. Her estate was probated on 19 November 1835 in Talladega County, Alabama. Alexander R. Hutchinson applied for administration of the estate of Hannah Burt, dec'd, late of Autauga county. The $2000 bond was posted by A. R. Hutchinson, John W. Bishop and A. R. Barclay. Hutchinson was named administrator.
Why did Hannah move to Talladega? Alexander R. Hutchinson purchased a land patent from the Mardisville General Land Office 5 Aug 1837 in section 2, township 19-S, range 4-E. The former Creek Indian territory were first open for sale in January 1834. Perhaps Hutchinson had moved to Talladega county and Hannah went to live with him and his wife.
On 16 Apr 1840 Alexander Hutchinson as administrator of her estate presented an inventory of her estate. He said he had received $582.27 1 Jan 1833 from Wm. H. Hansford, her former agent. In 18339 he received another $41.00 from that same agent. Her property was listed as one bed & furniture $30.00, Pot & oven $3.92, one table $3.00, one axe $1.50, one low post bedstead $3.00, and one cow & calf $15.00 for a total of $66.42. With interest the total value of the estate was $1073.01.3
