WOOD, John , late of Puslinch, was b. in Ross-shire, Scot. , and came to Canada settling on lot 14, con. 7, Puslinch, where he owned 50 acres. He was a Presbyterian, and a Liberal. He m. Mary Campbell, who d. in 1903, age 72. Issue: William, David, and Alexander.

William, m. Olive Patterson, and is a miller in South Dakota. David, owns the farm of 200 acres, lots 15, and 16, con. 1, Pilkington. He carries on mixed farming and dairying, and is a progressive farmer, using advanced methods. In his religious views he is a Presbyterian, and politically a Liberal. He m. Jeanette Johnston, whose father, John Johnston, came to Pilkington from Cobourg, and purchased the farm upon which they reside. There are no children,

Alexander, m. Margaret Wright, and set. on the homestead in Puslinch.,
