GORDON, John (d.), b. Fergus, Forfarshire, Scot., 1807, d. 1864, age 57. He came to Canada about 1827, settling in Puslinch Tp., where he owned 200 acres, lot 1, con . 10. He was active in the Presbyterian church, and a Conservative. He m. Rebecca Whiteside, who d. 1881, age 68. Issue: William (d. 32), Mrs. Wm. J. Dillon, Egremont; Mrs. Joseph Fletcher, Eramosa; Mrs. K. Gooding, Eramosa; John, Robert, George, David and Mrs. George Campbell, Guelph City.

John lives upon the old homestead in Puslinch, where he owns 100 acres. He m. Margaret A. Nichols. Issue: Ethel, Clara, Frances, Minnie, Roy and George.

Robert is a carpenter in Guelph City. He m. Mary A. Wharton. Issue: Wilfrid.

George was b. and raised in Puslinch. In 1882 he moved to Eramosa and purchased 82 acres, lot 5, con. 1, where he resides and carries on mixed farming. He m. Margaret F. Head.

David m. Alice Ritchie, and set. in Puslinch, where his owns 200 acres.
