Don Davis, 75, died October 4, at his home in Midwest City. Donald Lee Davis born April 17, 1931, was the oldest son of Charles Lee and Doris Eleanor Thomas Davis. Don was born and raised in Vallejo, California, and stayed there to raise his own family. Don married Beverly Louise Dunn, and together, they raised seven beautiful girls; their daughters: Linda, Gail, Margie, Judy, & Donna, and Don's sisters: Ollie & Rose. Throughout his adult life, Don faithfully served in the Mormon church, and worked for Lathrop Construction. In 1993, Don and Bev retired to Bainbridge Island, Washington, then moving to Oklahoma in 2004.

Don is survived by his wife Beverly; his siblings: Richard Davis, of Napa, CA, Phil Davis, of San Leandro, CA, Joy Cassidy, of Fremont, CA, Rose Greene, of Choctaw, OK, Ollie Chavez, of Vacaville, CA, and Lillian Brooks, of Utah; his children: Linda Smith, of Lynnwood, WA, Gail Poyner, of Choctaw, OK, Margie Roberts, of Vacaville, CA, Judy Genter, of Green Valley, CA, and Donna Gaffney, of Springfield, IL; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We all loved Don, and look forward to being with him again. Services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 2p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Choctaw, OK.

Interment will be at the Elmwood Cemetery, in Choctaw, OK.

Beverly Louise Davis, 74, died July 4, 2007 in Oklahoma City. Beverly was born January 25, 1933 in San Francisco. She was the daughter of Lawrence Beverly and Cathrine Louisa Griggs Dunn. Bev married Donald Lee Davis, and together, they raised seven beautiful daughters: Linda, Gail, Margie, Judy, Donna and Don's sisters, Olie and Rose.

Services to be held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Choctaw. Interment to follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw. Services are under the direction of Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home in Midwest City. Mom was devoted to her husband, family and church. She especially loved working with children and children were drawn to her love. She has blessed many lives with her love and kindness. Mom was an avid reader. Her sewing was meticulous and her cooking legendary, both of which were done with the greatest of love for others. She loved a good puzzle or game show, and was a formidable rival at any video game (just ask her grandchildren).

Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 53 loving years. No words can express how much her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss her. Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home
