Coal County, Oklahoma Ghost Towns

You are our [an error occurred while processing this directive] visitor!

Hi! Glad you stopped in.
My name is Angie Jenkins Long and I am the webhostess
for the Coal County Ghost Town site.

This is a brand new site, not much here yet
but I am working on getting some information together to get started.

But, I need your help!

If you have information on any of the topics listed below to help get this started
contact me, Angie Jenkins Long and send me what you have.

There are six classes of "Ghost Towns",
but we are mainly concerned with the first four:

I decided to add a seventh class just for fun.

A Scattered rubble or site where nature has reclaimed the land
B Roofless buildings or partialy demolished buildings
C Boarded up or abandoned buildings, no population.
D A community with many abandoned buildings and a small population of residents.
E Historic community or town, functional, but much smaller than in its boom years.
F A restored town, state park, or replica of an old town, community or fort.
G Paranormal activities, haunted houses and places
