There are six classes of "Ghost Towns",
but we are mainly concerned with the first four:

  1. Scattered rubble or site where nature has reclaimed the land
  2. Roofless buildings or partialy demolished buildings
  3. Boarded up or abandoned buildings, no population.
  4. A community with many abandoned buildings and a small population of residents.
  5. Historic community or town, functional, but much smaller than in its boom years.
  6. A restored town, state park, or replica of an old town, community or fort.
We would also to post your "Ghost" Stories. If you have a Ghost Story or a Haunting you would like to see posted on this website, please e-mail the coordinator or Donna Dreyer
