Ruth Ficarra, [email protected] I own a 1852 Columbus Ohio City Directory. Names listed alphabetly. Many bunisess ads. Societies. Government officals, Lodges etc etc. will do look-ups. Please email direct.
Wayne, [email protected] I have the 3 volume set of books done by Opha Moore in 1930 covering Franklin county and am willing to do look ups. I also have a copy of the History of Columbus, Ohio by Osman Castle Hooper in 1920. The indexes for these books leaves quite a bit to be desired so I can only do a look through the Biographies listed.
Teresa, [email protected] If anyone needs cemetery pictures from Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, I can take them on a digital camera and send them either via email or floppy for a very small charge. I will need the location of the grave. Other cemeteries in the area may also be possible. I am going to try this and see how it goes. Email me personally.
Joyce M. Turner, [email protected] I've just acquired Family Tree Maker's CD "Ohio Vital Records #2, 1750s to 1880's. I would be willing to do early Franklin County marriage look-ups, and it also has some Franklin County Cemeteries and will abstracts. [NOTE: One family lookup at a time please!]
Christi Hamblin, [email protected] (Put "Christi" in the subject line) I have purchased my own personal "Germans to America" by Glazier and Filby (A series of 50+ books. They are an index of passenger ship lists.), Volume 12 dates Nov. 1857- July 1859. If any one wants me to check a name for them, just let me know, I would be more that happy to share.
Rev. Robert Barr, White Family Library, [email protected] I would be glad to help anyone doing research on "White" families. I have over 200 families histories with several with ties to Franklin Co., Oh. Others may have ties we don't know about. I would be glad to swap information.
George F. Bareis, [email protected] I am in possession of a privately published 500+ page volume written by my great grand-uncle George Frederick BAREIS on the History of Madison Township, Franklin Co., Ohio. It was published in 1902. His daughter Grace M. BAREIS was a professor at Ohio State University for some 38 years. His father my great-great grandfather came to Ohio from Germany and settled in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Do you have a copy of this book? If not, are you interested in it at all? I am willing to share the information in the book in exchange for some leads on sources of information regarding my ancestors in the Canal Winchester area during the period of 1848 and 1880.
