Mr Stockton is closely related to Woodford county, he having married Miss Maggie Nuckols of this county, and the conferring of this high honor upon him is highly pleasing to his and his wifes friends here. Mr Stockton was one of the leading and most active members of the executive committee in charge of the Richmond conclave. He and Mrs Stockton showed many nice courtesies to the Versailles Knights and ladies during the conclave. (Woodford Sun)
