John David Barkhouse's Roots
This page began as a simple project to set great grandfather John David Barkhouse's life (1840-1924) in its historical context deriving from his great grandfather Johann Nicholaus Berghaus' migration to Nova Scotia in 1752. The project was triggered by a family reunion of John David's descendants. John David Barkhouse and Letitia May (Eisenhauer) Barkhouse (1849-1926) are buried in the Riverview Cemetery in Upper Burlington, Hants County.
