wm The Workman

The Workman was published from October 9th, 1890 through July 26th, 1894. It ran into the publication period for two other newspapers in town, making for approximatley three months, three newspapers being published in this little town. The other newspapers published in Minden at the time were The News Gazette and the Minden Register. The Register lasting only approximately ten months, The Workman lasted a bit longer but eventually lost out to the News Gazette. The pages are intertwined with the other newspapers and the notices appearing are noted with the letters WM prior to the date of the newspaper.
