STENDER CEMETERY

This cemetery was a family cemetery with burials beginning in the 1800's until an unknown date. Those buried in the cemetery, which was in the farm yard of the Stender farm were later disinterred and moved to the Voss-Mohr Cemetery, Sec 210. It is not known for sure which of those buried at Voss-Mohr were originally buried in the family plot on the farm.

The Stender farm was located 1/4 mile west of the intersection of Highway 370 and Highway 50, in Sec 35, Twp 14, Range 11. The cemetery is indicated on old Sarpy County maps. There are no indications of the former cemetery and it is located on private land.
