| News/Obit* | 15 June 2010 | Robert "Bob" Richey (June 10, 1941 - June 12, 2010) Robert “Bob” Richey died on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Mora, MN. He was 69 years old. Bob was born on June 10, 1941 in Wilkensburg, PA to Louis and Lois (Walker) Richey. He was highly respected and known as a very caring and giving man that loved to make people laugh. His great sense of humor and his ability to laugh at himself made him the kind of person people wanted to spend time with often. His greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends, and his passions were dedication and loyalty to his job, and taking care of his garden and landscape. He is survived by his wife Donna, son Emery and his wife Helena, daughter Darla and her husband Martin, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and by all of the family and friends who's lives he so lovingly touched. In short, a description given by his niece says it all; "He was an awesome man." A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 2 until 4 P.M. at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora. Arrangements by Dresser-Methven Funeral Home3 |
