Children, Catharine, w/o James Haas, Mary, w/o James Hottenstein, Emma, w/o a Mr. Snyder. He married second to Rebecca Obold and they had one child, Rebecca to married James Kerst. John Fink, married 1st to Angeline Eisenhower, Children; Henry J., William A., Sarah A.E. and Ellen. He married 2nd to to Mary E. Drenkel, they had no children; Fink, Henry of Reading, born April 22, 1844, son of John and Angelina (Eisehower) Fink He married Sept 21, 1869 to Rebecca Graeff. Children; John W. of Mt. Carbon and George H of Reading. Fink, Andrew Jackson, was born 1872, s/o Andrew Jackson Fink and Catharine (Helder) Fink. Andrew Jackson Fink Sr. was born in Reading, July 6, 1840. He married Catharine Helder. Children; Clara married Samuel Jacobs, Kate married James Gilbert, Ella married James Grist, Florence and Annie, unmarried and Andrew Jackson. Mr. Fink was survived by his brother John Fink and his sister Rebecca, w/o James Kerst. Andrew Jackson Fink married Laura G. Goodenough. Children; Dorothy and Donald Fink, Dr. Allen J., was born in Berks Co, Nov 13, 1860, son of David and Jane E. (Gift) Fink and grandson of Peter Finck. Peter Finck was born 1783, died 1853. He married Magdalena Heffner, born 1790 and died 1852. Children; Kate, Mary, Ann, Betsey, Abraham, Malara, Joel, Harriet and David H. David H. was born 1833 and died 1893. He married Jane E. Gift, d/o William Gift. Only one child was born to them, Dr. Allen J. Fink, who married Amy Withers, d/o George and Joanna (Kalbach) Withers and they had one son, Langhorn. Lancaster Co Fink, William D. M.D. of Dever, Lancaster Co., was born Feb 12, 1854 at Berks Co., son of Abraham and Mary (Lesher) Fink, his paternal and maternal ancestry both being German. Peter Fink, his grandfather of Hamburg, Berks Co. Children of Abraham and Mary (Lesher) Fink, Alfred of Hamburg, Jonathan of Berks Co., William D., Albert of Reading, and Peter of Phila. In 1882 Dr. Fink married Mary E. Lenhart of Berks Co. Children; Raymond, Mable, deceased, Florence and Agnes. York Co Fink, Isaac Clemens, of York Haven, Newberry twp, was born Oct 22, 1872, s/o Eli L. and Salima (Clemens) Fink John Fink, grandfather of Isaac C. of Newberry twp, he lived to be 84. He was twice married, by his first wife he had, Charles, deceased, Henry A., Mary married Adam Kohr and Caroline married Henry Gibson. His second wife was Elizabeth Linn who died at the age of 79. Children, Leah w/o Peter Brunner, Amanda w/o Alexander Clemens, Emma w/o James Sleets, Lucy and Eli L. Eli L. was born 1842. He had children; Isaac C., Elizabeth, Edward, Howard Isaac C., married Sept 26, 1897 to Catharine Sheaffer, of Cumberland Co, MD. Children; Maryland, Blanche, Esther. Lehigh Co Fink Family. The first of the Fink family were Peter Fink and Daniel Fink, who arrivied at Phila, 1749 and Michael Fink, wo arrivied 1751. Michael Fink settled in Salisbury twp. In 1785 his widow was taxed. She died Nov 28, 1794, age 58y 2m 22d Peter Fink and his wf Anna Maria had children, John Jacob, born 1767, Maria E. 1779, John born Nov 3, 1786, Michael born May 30 1788, Solomon born 25 May 1792 and Lydia 1794. Jacob Fink was born 1767 of Allentown. He married Catharine Miller and had children; Joshua born 1807 and settled in IL. Jacob born 1818, Marianna, born 1809, she married Alexander Miller. Reuben, Sarah w/o Thomas Mast, Elizabeth, w/o Thomas Wise, Mrs. John Albright and Edwin, who was killed in the Civil war. Jacob Fink was born Dec 10, 1818. He died May 25, 1901. He married Louisa Harwick, d/o Jacob and Elizabeth (Horlacher) Harwick of near Quakertown. She was born March 22, 1822 and died Feb 8, 1897. Children; Mary C., w/o Benjamin Frederick, Annie C., w/o Allen D. Wolf, Jacob H., John H., Ella died a baby, George W. of Allentown, Sarah, w/o George Dixon and Carrie. Jacob H. Fink, s/o Jacob, was born in Allentown, April 21, 1847. He married June 11, 1878 to Emma J. Hartman, d/o William D. and Clara (Rehr) Hartman of Allentown, they had one son Harry E., born March 26, 1882. He married 2nd to Laura Weaver, d/o Milton F. and Elamenda Amy of Allentown and they had a son Paul J. Fink. Peter Fink, s/o Michael, who was born Dec 31, 1765, who was a son of Michael Sr. a taxable in Salisbury in 1765. Peter Fink is buried at Western Salisbury. He had a son, Daniel, born 1813 at Emaus. He married Julia Sacks was born Feb 8, 1819. She was the d/o Morton and Catharine (Kline) Sacks of Lower Milford.Children; Emaline, w/o Reuben Hilyard, Joanna married Amandus Lafavor, Priscilla married C.J. Haines, Daniel F., Amanda married Moses Derner, Tevillia died age 23, Theresa married L. Derouer, Uriah, Hiram, Kate married William Beisel, Isabella, Mary married Reuben Crusan, William F., Lillie Ann, w/o Alfred Horn. | |
