THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me
WILLIAM CLARK of Ramsgate in the Isle of Thanet in the County of Kent Gentleman I being at the time of the executing hereof of sound and disposing mind and memory First I give and devise all that my messuage or tenement with the outhouses edifices and buildings gardens ground and appurtenances to the same belonging situate lying and being in Ramsgate aforesaid in a certain street there called the Brick Street and now in my own occupation unto my wife
Ann Clarke and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life she and they keeping the same in good and tenantable repair and from and after the demise of my said wife I Give and devise the said messuage or tenement with the outhouses edifices buildings Gardens Ground and Appurtenances unto my children
William Clark Mary Clark and Jane Clark equally to be divided between them as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants and to their respective heirs and assigns But if either of my said daughters shall happen to depart this life under the age of twenty-one years without issue then and in such case I Give and devise the part and share of her so dying unto the survivor of them my said daughters and unto my said son
William Clark equally between them as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants and to their respective heirs and assigns and if both my said daughters should happen to die under the age of twenty one years without issue then and in such case I Give and devise their parts and shares of and in my said messuage or tenement and premises unto my said son
William Clark and to his heirs and assigns Nevertheless if my said daughters or either of them shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years leaving issue then my will is that such issue shall then take and be entitled to that part and share which his her or their mother would have been entitled to under and by virtue of this my Will and my will further is that after the decease of my said wife my said daughters shall and may if they think proper (and not otherwise) use occupy and reside in my said messuage or tenement and premises with their appurtenances thereby paying to my said son
William Clark during their residence therein one full third part only of the present yearly rent of the same premises Also I do Give and bequeath all such ready monies as may be in my house at the time of my decease unto my said wife
Ann Clark to and for her and absolute use and benefit and I give the full use and enjoyment of all my household goods chattels furniture plate linen of every sort and kind which may be standing and being in and about my said messuage or tenement and premises unto my said wife
Ann Clark for and during the term of her natural life and after her decease I Give and bequeath the same unto my said daughters
Mary Clark and Jane Clark equally to be divided between them also I give unto my said wife
Ann Clark for her life all those dividends interest and profits which shall from time to time arise and grow and all my monies in the public stocks or funds or in any other security or securities whatsoever together with the full use and enjoyment of all that rest and residue of my goods chattels and all other my personal estate whatsoever not hereby by me before disposed of Subject to the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses and after the decease of my said wife
Ann Clark I give and bequeath all my said monies in the public stocks or funds unto my said daughters
Mary Clark and Jane Clark equally between them share and share alike to be paid and transferred and assigned to them when they shall attain to their respective ages of twenty one years and the dividends and profits thereof in the meantime I do order and direct shall after the decease of my said wife be paid and applied for and towards the support and maintenance of my said daughters during their respective minorities And if either of my said daughters shall happen to depart this life under the age of twenty one years without issue the I give their part and share of her so dying of and in my said monies in the public stocks or funds unto the survivor of them my said daughters and unto my said son
William Clark equally between them And if both my said daughters shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years without issue then I give the whole of my said monies in the public stocks or funds unto my said son
William Clark and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns Nevertheless it is my will that if my said daughters or either of them shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years leaving issue then such issue shall have take and be entitled to that part and share which his her or their mother would have been entitled to of my said monies in the public stocks or funds under and by virtue of this my Will and after the decease of my said wife as aforesaid I give all the rest and residue of my goods chattels Bonds securities and all other my personal estate whatsoever unto my said children
William Clark Mary Clarke and Jane Clark equally between them share and share alike and to their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns and lastly I do appoint my said wife Ann Clark and my son
William Clark joint Executors of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.

WILLIAM CLARK the Testator have to each sheet of this my will (in three sheets of paper contained) set my hand and seal this twelfth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety nine WILLIAM CLARK

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me ELIZABETH WELLARD of Margate in the County of Kent Spinster
I Give and Bequeath unto Elizabeth Clark Widow of the late Mr William Clark of Minster in the Isle of Thanet the sum of Ten Pounds
(inserted in the margin of the document at this point are the words
�I also give unto Martha Wellard Widow of Stephen Wellard of Minster in the Isle of Thanet the sum of Ten Pounds�)
I Also Give unto Stephen Wellard Robert Wellard and William Wellard sons of the above Martha Wellard the sum of fifteen Pounds each

And made oath that he is one of the subscribed witnesses of the execution of the last will and Testament of Elizabeth Wellard late of Margate in the County of Kent Spinster bearing date the Tenth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Thirty-eight and now hereunto annexed and he further made oath that on the said Tenth day of April in the said year One thousand Eight hundred and Thirty-eight the said Testatrix only executed her said Will by making her mark or cross at the foot or end thereof as the same now appears thereon in the presence of this Deponent and of Dorothy Cooperthe other witness to the said Will both of whom were present at the same time and that he this Deponent and the said Dorothy Cooper thereupon attested and subscribed the said Will in the presence of the Testatrix and of each other
