In  1976 I visited Quiet Ridge Cemetery, located in Pickens, 
Holmes County, MS. I found the following headstones:
 
"Mother" Minnie McCool, Sept 23, 1853, Oct 16, 1928

J. F. McCool, Husband of Minnie McCool, Born 12-1-1847, Died 2-9-1885
 
MC COOL J. L. McCool 1875-1926 (that would be Jan 30, 1875 and March
10, 1926, he was John Lafayette McCool, son of James Francis McCool 
and Minnie Annebelle Suber.)
 
PEPPER, Elisha David 9-7-1878, 7-7-1957
 
Lena Dittman, 9-26-1886
 
Linda Smith McKie, 11-25-1901, 5-3-1944
